At the shop we get asked almost daily about terrariums, how to make them, how to care for them, if we sell the pieces to make, so we're selling these in the shop right now. I love our Make Your Own Terrarium kits! They make perfect gifts too. Last week The Luxe Life came into the shop to visit us for a little tutorial on terrariums. Check out the article here. Even though it doesn't feel like spring today, as the snow continues to fall, this bridal bouquet from last weekend's wedding of ivy, sweet peas, tulips, viburnum, queen anne's lace and garden roses sure felt like spring. Wishful thinking in the middle of March. Ps. wait till you see the real photos from this wedding (to. die. for.)
Carly and I first met at a Starbucks in the days before the shop was open, before the website was up, before there was really much to show for Sweet Woodruff... It was so hard back then to be able to translate my vision without any tangibles. But Carly and I always seemed to just get each other. And she put total faith in me to help her create the scene for her big day with Mike - which meant the world to me.
Carly was a hilarious bride - she literally made me laugh out loud - her emails were hilarious. Even their engagement story made me giggle. I loved our consultations (and not just because she brought me the most delicious homemade cookies!) She was just a joy to have around. And I loved doing their wedding! The day itself was gorgeous. Perfect for a summer wedding at Evergreen Brick Works. Lush. Sunny. Blue skied. Warm. Heaven. And Carly looked like such a knock-out! That dress? Wow!
Carly & Mike put so much effort into making their day something so special and memorable. Every element, down to the tiniest detail, wove in stories about their lives together, their family, and Carly's son Griffin. It was awesome working with 10tation to execute Carly's beautiful vision. I am so grateful to have been a part of their day. Beautiful photos by Renaissance Studios
Kaity & Geoff are such sweethearts. I thought they were so adorable the first time I met them, and as I continued to get to know them I continued to think they were not only adorable but absolutely perfect for each other! Kaity's vision for their summer wedding was so pretty and soft and full of lush blush flowers. I loved being a part of their day, setting up at Liberty Grand and personally hand delivering her bouquet. I was so excited to bring it to her and see her face (it was one of my favourites of the season!) Their day came together beautifully with the help of Love by Lynzie And don't think that the details were lost on Geoff. He so sweetly knows his wife so well, whenever he orders flowers for her, he knows exactly what she'll like... ordering replicas of their wedding arrangements. See... they're adorable!!
